- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cups milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine melted

- Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar into a medium bowl.
- With rotary beater, beat egg.
- Add milk and butter; beat until well mixed.
- Pour this into dry ingredients; beat only until combined.
